Biography
Elaine Wrenn's background has given her skills in designing learning environments and experiences through the lens of administrator, curriculum designer, educational technology leader, IT manager, teacher, and, most importantly, learner.
Upon earning a B.A. in Cognitive Science, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a Masters in Education at UCLA, she began her career as a teacher at The Lab School at UCLA. Later, she served Echo Horizon School for 24 years, ultimately as Assistant Head of School: Director of Curriculum, Technology, and Innovation, with a vision of supporting all teachers through seamlessly integrating technology into the curriculum.
Under her leadership, the school was recognized for many years as an Apple Distinguished School for innovation, leadership, and educational excellence. Ms. Wrenn has been recognized as an Apple Distinguished Educator and Google Certified Teacher for Innovation and Vision in Learning and Teaching and has delivered professional development locally, nationally, and internationally.
