Biography

Katie Convoy is excited to join St. Matthew’s Parish School as the Director of Advancement after over a decade in independent school advancement. A Los Angeles native, Katie began her career in advancement at the Buckley School in Sherman Oaks where she worked extensively with annual giving, stewardship, parent volunteers, and capital projects. In 2018, she moved up the coast to Cate School in Carpinteria, where she became the Associate Director of Advancement, fundraising during the school’s largest comprehensive campaign in its history. Katie has a master’s degree in corporate and nonprofit communication from Johns Hopkins University. Outside of educational fundraising, Katie serves as a trustee for Girls Inc. of Carpinteria, where she chairs the fund development committee and sits on the executive council.
