Biography

Jessica is so excited to be a part of the community at St. Matthew's! She is a SoCal native and comes to St. Matthew's after having worked in school libraries for the past five years with Long Beach Unified School District. Jessica has a BA in English from UC Riverside, an MA in Children's Literature from Roehampton University in London, and an MLIS in Library and Information Science from USC.  She is a firm believer in the power of reading and that a library should be a safe space for students to create.  In her free time, Jessica loves to read, travel, and spend time with her husband and two-year-old dog, Finn.
