Biography

Mrs. Gaunt began teaching at St. Matthew’s in 2006. Prior to teaching at St. Matthew's she taught 3rd Grade at St. Vincent de Paul School in San Francisco for three years and worked as an advertising executive in New York and Chicago. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Colorado, Boulder and her Masters in Elementary Education from DePaul University in Chicago. Mrs. Gaunt has a passion for education and believes that her students learn best when they are inspired and empowered. She now teaches Pre-Kindergarten and is excited to be working with our youngest learners to lay the foundation for a lifetime love of learning.  She provides engaging experiences that inspire her students to observe, explore, question, collaborate, problem-solve and create.
