Biography

Mrs. Lake began teaching at St. Matthew’s in 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from Carleton University in Canada. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Medaille College in Buffalo, New York. Mrs. Lake holds a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and is currently pursuing her Reading Specialist Credential from University of California, Los Angeles. Mrs. Lake’s passion is to help her students develop a love of learning. Identifying the unique ways that each student learns best and providing experiences that will allow them to fulfill their emotional, educational, social and developmental needs is Mrs. Lake’s quest in the classroom. She strives to provide her students with the opportunities to grow in their relationships with their peers as they learn in a fun and safe environment.
