Welcome to St. Matthew’s!
At St. Matthew’s, we believe real excellence happens through rich, immersive lived experiences, and exciting, creative interdisciplinary learning opportunities. We safely and adventurously explore every day, and learn together through diverse, shared learning opportunities both on campus and in the communities and environments beyond – trying new things, discovering the world around us, and discovering ourselves.
Students are given the individualized, loving guidance and genuine respect that allows them to reach much farther both safely and confidently, in the pursuit of ideas, answers, and a more fulfilling, deeper sense of understanding. They temper their strong capability with compassion and balance their well-deserved self-assurance with authentic empathy and kindness. They develop the strength, resolve, and enthusiasm to lead, and the humility to be committed, generous stewards. They gain the flexibility to adapt easily and naturally to meet both challenges and opportunities with joy, excitement, and enthusiasm. They embrace every chance to learn, and in return, look for every chance to give back.

St. Matthew’s Parish School is excited to announce its two temporary campuses in Santa Monica!
St. Matthew’s at Stoner Avenue Campus (Little Falcons – 2nd Grade)
St. Matthew’s at the Water Garden (3rd – 8th Grade)
St. Matthew’s extends far beyond the confines of our campus. On January 27th, St. Matthew’s Parish School resumed full day in-person learning for Early Childhood through 8th grade. Thanks to the incredible efforts of our faculty, staff, as well as contributions from schools and organizations from across the country, we were able to return to in-person learning in just 18 days.
Students are learning in classroom spaces filled with the dedicated teachers and staff who truly love teaching – and the students they teach. Our campus spaces allow us to maintain the integrity of our program while embracing our warm community.
St. Matthew’s Parish School has always believed in service as a foundational component of one’s educational experience. For decades, we have run fundraisers, drives, walks, and lemonade stands in support of our friends and outreach partners around our community in an effort to instill the importance of service in our students. Thank you to everyone, far and wide, for your continued support and generosity.
